The flow of water causes the ever-present grasses to bend in one direction, creating what seems to be...a River of Grass. Picture the grazing deer, the submerged and sun-bathing alligators, the turtles, and a myriad of beautiful birds in a land all their own. It is we who are the visitors...
This number for a string trio is peaceful and tranquil. It is appropriate for an intermediate to high level of expertise. It may be played as a chamber piece in a smaller room or venue, or as a concert piece.
