White Winged Flight was commissioned by the association ‘Moza ek’, the cultural collaboration of the Belgian municipalities Bonheiden, Duffel, Putte and Sint-Katelijne-Waver. The work is based on 4 notes that each stand for the name of the municipality. The title refers to the white-winged flight of a peace dove and is a call for reconciliation and peace. It is a brilliant piece of music in which you can hear the positive message throughout the parts. It is lively, colourful and offers plenty of great playing for all instrument groups.

White Winged Flight werd geschreven in opdracht van Moza ek, het cultureel samenwerkingsverband tussen de Belgische gemeenten Bonheiden, Duffel, Putte en Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Het werk is gebaseerd op vier noten die zijn afgeleid van de beginletters van de vier betreffende gemeenten. De titel verwijst naar de witgevleugelde vlucht van een vredesduif, want het gaat om een oproep tot verzoening en vrede. Het is een prachtig stuk muziek waarin de positieve boodschap goed hoorbaar is. Als levendig en kleurrijk werk heeft het veel te bieden voor alle instrumentgroepen.

White Winged Flight wurde von dem Verein Moza ek“ in Auftrag gegeben, einem kulturellen Zusammenschluss der belgischen Gemeinden Bonheiden, Duffel, Putte und Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Das Werk basiert auf vier Noten, von der jede für einen Ortsnamen steht. In diesem brillanten Stück kann man die positive Botschaft in allen Stimmen hören. Es ist lebhaft, stimmungsvoll und bietet für alle Instrumentengruppen tolle Herausforderungen.
