Ebony Fantasy is a short solo piece for B flat clarinet and wind band - an ideal piece to put young soloists into the spotlight! After a short introduction, in which the theme - more-or-less - is first heard, there follows a lyrical Andante espressivo and a powerful Allegro. The entire ensemble participates in a short cadenza before returning to the lyrical Andante, which brings the piece slowly and gradually to a close.

Ebony Fantasy is een kort solowerk voor besklarinet en orkest. Het is ideaal om de jonge solist mee in spotlight te zetten! Na een korte inleiding, waarin het thema - vaag - wordt voorgesteld, volgen er een lyrisch Andanteespressivo en een krachtig Allegro. Via een korte cadens, waaraan ook het orkest deelneemt, keren we terug naar de lyrische andantepassage, die naar het slot toe langzaam wegsterft.

Ebony Fantasy ist ein kurzes Solowerk für B-Klarinette und Blasorchester - ein ideales Stück, um junge Solisten ins Rampenlicht zu rücken! Nach einer kurzen Einleitung, in der das Thema - vage - vorgestellt wird, folgen ein lyrisches Andante espressivo und ein kraftvolles Allegro. Über eine kurze Kadenz, an welcher das gesamte Orchester beteiligt ist, kehrt das lyrische Andante zurück, das zum Schluss hin langsam verebbt.

Ebony Fantasy est une courte pièce pour clarinette si bémol solo et orchestre d’harmonie, une oeuvre idéale pour mettre de jeunes clarinettistes solistes sous les feux de la rampe ! Une brève introduction expose le thème en filigrane. Lui succèdent un lyrique Andante espressivo puis un puissant Allegro. L’orchestre au complet participe une courte cadenza avant de revenir l’apaisant motif de l’Andante, qui mène la pièce lentement et progressivement son final.
