Composed by Jim Mulhearn. Contemporary. Score and parts. 4 pages. Jim Mulhearn #3928367. Published by Jim Mulhearn (A0.993742).Inspired by a trip to Mystery Island, part of the Vanuatu archipelago, I wrote this piece back in 2010. I was taken by the utter peace and tranquillity I felt there.
This arrangement is for a string quartet. It is easily adaptable to 4 celli as can be heard from the sample audio file. The audio rendition was done by Nigel Parry, first chair cellist for the Australian Ballet at one time.
Slurs in string parts are phrasing. Please bow appropriately.
