Concerto Tricolore is a captivating trumpet concerto in three movements. Each movement has its own musical character resulting in a varied and entertaining piece. The first movement has a vivid and virtuoso character composed in a neoclassical style, movement two is written for flugel horn with the accompaniment functioning as a soft, romantic background for this beautiful instrument. The final movement, with its jazzy character, reflects the atmosphere of an old, smoky jazz club in Chicago. A magnificent new opus in the repertoire for solo trumpet and concert band.
Concerto Tricolore is een boeiend trompetconcert in drie delen. Elk deel heeft zijn eigen muzikale karakter. Het eerste deel (Allegro Brillante) is levendig en virtuoos, en in neoklassieke stijl gecomponeerd. Er volgteen Andante Doloroso voor bugel, met een zachte, romantische achtergrondbegeleiding. Daarna geeft een Allegro Giusto de jazzy sfeer van een oude rokerige jazzclub in Chicago weer. Het resultaat is een afwisselend enonderhoudend geheel.
Concerto Tricolore ist ein bezauberndes Trompetenkonzert in drei Sätzen. Das lebhafte, virtuose Allegro brillante wurde im neoklassizistischen Stil komponiert. Darauf folgt ein wehmütiges Andante doloroso für Flügelhorn mit einer romantischen Begleitung als Hintergrund. Der dritte Satz, das Allegro giusto spiegelt mit seinem jazzigen Charakter die Atmosphäre eines alten, verrauchten Jazzclubs in Chicago wider. So weist jeder Satz einen eigenen musikalischen Charakter auf, woraus sich ein abwechslungsreiches, unterhaltsames Stück ergibt. Concerto Tricolore ist ebenfalls für Trompete und Klavier erhältlich.
Chacun des trois tableaux de cette pièce captivante s’identifie par un caractère musical particulier. De style néoclassique, le premier mouvement est pétillant et virtuose. Dans le deuxième mouvement - écrit pour le bugle - l’accompagnement offre un tapis sonore doux et romantique qui permet l’instrument soliste de dévoiler son charme et son élégance. Le troisième et dernier mouvement baigne dans l’atmosphère “bluesy” d’une soirée passée dans l’ambiance feutrée et enfumée d’un vieux club de jazz de Chicago. Ognuno dei tre affreschi che compongono questo brano coinvolgente si identifica per il suo stile musicale particolare. Neo-classico, il primo movimento è di carattere scintillante e virtuoso. Nel secondo movimento - scritto per il flicorno soprano - l’accompagnamento offerto è dolce e romantico, ciò che permette allo strumento solista di svelare il suo charme e la sua eleganza. Il terzo ed ultimo movimento ci porta nell’atmosfera “blues” di una serata passata nell’ambiente infeltrito e pieno di fumo di un vecchio club di jazz di Chicago.
