Published by Andy Derrick (S0.439043).Composed in 2014 for the Warwick School (UK) 'cello ensemble and adapted for Trombone Ensemble. Inspired by Russian Orthodox choral music, this piece features a chorale exploiting the rich ensemble tonal qualities of the quartet.
It was premiered in November 2016 and as the title suggests was dedicated To Those Who Served recognising the sacrifice and effort given by so many in times of war, not just combatants.
