The rhythm is a consistent 3 4 3 4 sequence, very optimistic and lively.
She is the sun in the afternoon
she is the night's familiar
She comes on a beam of mellow gold light
and is soft as the scent of camelia
But she burns oh she burns
with a heat that startles and sears
and she has burnt her way right through to my heart.

that the lady is fair
