Published by Kriscendo Music (A0.1028492).When I composed this piece, autumn had just arrived and all the leaves were swaying gently in the trees; a strong wind would only knock a few down. When this would happen, I followed each leave's trail as it made it's way to the ground. It was simple, but it was beautiful. As autumn continued to ravage the trees, more and more of their leaves would fall, until it seemed anywhere you looked, a leaf was falling. The imagery of that autumn inspired this piano solo. I like to imagine this simple piece is for a pair of leaves that drift down, dancing, to the ground.
