Composed by Turlough O Carolan. Arranged by Thomas Quigley. Baroque,Celtic,Concert,Holiday. Score and parts. 14 pages. Thomas Quigley #3389031. Published by Thomas Quigley (A0.731802).

The Irish harp composer Turlough O Carolan (1670-1738) often wrote "planxties"- pieces dedicated to his patrons. In his music, Baroque influences can be heard - as well as Irish. His music is very popular with Irish traditional players. This lively and attractive scherzo-like planxty is treated in a classical style, with careful use of articulations, contrasting dynamics and textures. It is possible to select a few different O Carolan pieces for inclusion at a concert. This well-crafted arrangement is  very satisfying to play and is suitable for student or amateur quartets.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
