Composed by Kevin Longley. Contemporary. Score. 8 pages. Kevin Longley #3378577. Published by Kevin Longley (A0.1019353).

Cafe Terrace III for Piano, composed in September of 2009 was the third in a set of 3 pieces inspired by Vincent van Gogh's "Café Terrace at Night". This piece unlike the first two, was composed to celebrate the grandeur van Gogh must have felt at the conclusion of his masterpiece, as he stepped back a final time to look at his painting and then the Cafe. In a sense the music celebrates all the events as they flashed across his inner eye . The piece opens with a majestic melody weaving through secondary ideas as the piece progress's, only to return to the opening melody and then conclude in a glorius fashion.
