Ernest Bucalossi (1859-1933) was a Britisch-Italian light music composer. The Grasshopper’s Dance was written in 1905 and has enjoyed popularity ever since - even appearing in a recent milk commercial. The rest of his music, once very popular, has slipped into obscurity.
