Whispers on the Wing is an original piano solo that was composed in 2013. It begins very quietly with a very light touch and then expands into lush melody--a word picture in music to capture the gentle flight and beauty of the tiny hummingbirds flitting outside my window.  It is perfect for quiet moments of reflection in a church service or personal moments of quieting and meditation. It offers an opportunity for the pianist to show an emotional range from light and wispy to lush and melodic.  It is mostly in the key of C, duration is 3 ½ minutes.  It is the first piano solo included in my album Whispers and Meditations that contains 20 such solos for reflection and quieting in today’s busy world. I am a long standing member of ASCAP and live in California.
