By Lee DeWyze. By Leonard Cohen. Arranged by Erik Kihss. Rock. Score. 4 pages. Erik Kihss Digital Publishing #2937259. Published by Erik Kihss Digital Publishing (A0.866831).

Two arrangements for beginning to early intermediate piano students of the Leonard Cohen classic "Hallelujah".

The first version is written in 3/4 time with the melody simplified rhythmically to half and quarter notes, and the left hand outlining triads.  The second version (audio sample) is in 6/8 with a more rhythmically challenging melody (based on composer Leonard Cohen's version) for more advanced students. Chord symbols are included in both versions.  Ideal for piano teachers who want to encourage students to learn to read chord symbols and come up with their own arrangements under the melody.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
