Kyrgyz Rhythms is a folk song that uses a variety of rhythms and pitches, and can provide a challenge for nearly every instrument. This part is for the oboe, preferably in a concert band setting. The oboeist for this piece must be quite skilled, and must hit a high G in order to play.

The part contains a wide variety of musical elements, pitch, rhythm, tempo, key etc. The piece is divided into different sections by two or three bar rests, that can prepare the performer for the next section. The oboe must make sure not to drown out the other instruments, especially if playing with three or more oboes.

In a non-concert band setting, simply ignore the large rests.
