With the tonality being based on a dorian mode, it's quite easy to learn, thus cutting down on rehearsal time. The piano part is largely independent from the tenor and bass lines, and has a haunting, etherial feel. The optional viola enhaces the "otherwordly" feel. Peace quotes the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred Hindu text, and may be usable for an interfaith program. A community chorus would find Peace a delightful addition to any program. .
