Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.870370

Composed by Daniel Speer. Arranged by Randy A. Steinberg. Baroque. Score and parts. 12 pages. Randy A. Steinberg #1885785. Published by Randy A. Steinberg (A0.870370).

Daniel Speer was a 17th century composer who wrote a number of sacred part songs mostly for organ and occasionally for other instrumental ensembles. He served as town musician in Breslau and later as a church cantor in Goppingen. A man of strong political wills, he was arrested in 1688 and served one year in prison for political publications he had produced. He later served as a church cantor at Waiblingen after he was freed. This piece makes a great opening fanfare for brass quintet. It is perfect for church services and wedding occasions as well as other concerts and venues where a bright inspirational theme needs to be established.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
