A heart-warming winter journey with the Grassau Brass Band: "The Grassauer" has long become a synonym for massive brass sound, witty interpretation and sheer delight in playing.

With RUNDUMADUM (Bavarian for "round and round"), the Chiemsee-based brass musicians present their all-time Christmas favourites. It is a joyful winter journey, full of atmosphere. And captures the ensemble's unique sound: the ten musicians usually play their very own adaptations, tailor-made to their full potential, congeniality, esprit, and mastership. Typical "Grassauer", authentic Bavarian folk music, forms the basic concept for RUNDUMADUM. With this distinctive background, the ensemble makes use of instruments from the alphorn to baroque trumpets; they play from chorales to "The Petersburg Sleigh Ride", showcasing their impressive spectrum of musical colours.

The Grassau Brass Ensemble is ardently loved far beyond Bavarian borders. The German weekly DIE ZEIT praises the musicians: 'from Bach to Part, the Grassau Brass Ensemble clothes classical music with Bavarian charm'.
