"You Spotted Snakes with Double Tongues" is a song from the point of view of fairy attendants, who are trying to keep various creatures from disturbing their queen's slumber. As for the music, the style is delicate and lighthearted with a touch of mischief. A great contrast from typical heavy-handed brass literature and a staple of early Romantic music, this piece would make a great addition to any brass quintet collection.
