These antiphons, composed to accompany the entrance procession for Ash Wednesday and the five Sundays of Lent, have their textual basis in The Roman Missal, 2010, the verses are from The Revised Grail Psalms (2010). Each antiphon has been set to one of four common-meter hymn tunes. The optional descant (sung, or played on C instrument) can be added at any time. The antiphons (as well as the verses) may be performed by large and varied forces, or sung in unison, with only the organ accompanying.
