Welsh composer Alwyn Humphreys has created an exciting and attractive anthem for the Christmas season. The work was composed for and performed by The King's Singers and is dedicated to them. Eric Wyn Robert's text tells the story from Joseph's point of view, and each verse concludes with the acclamation: "Te Laudamus." The music is in a popular style with rhythmic syncopations and alternates unison singing with four-part writing.
