Simeon's Cove was written as an adventure film score depicting the tale of Simoen, a young boy growing up on the Eastern Seaboard in the early 1800's. His travels on a merchant ship lead to encounters with pirates Calico Jack and the Sea Witch. The score is warm, colorful and full of youthful energy. It is part of a suite which also includes "Calico Jack" and "The Sea Witch". "Calico Jack" was performed at Midwest Conference in Chicago spring of 2010.
