With the key change, players need to focus on a smooth transition. Each member of the quartet (3 soprano clarinets & 1 bass clarinet) has an opportunity to play the melody during the piece. To perform the piece at the desired tempo, it may be helpful to begin at a slower tempo and work up to the faster tempo. The Polka should be fun to play and to listen to.
