No. 1 - A Major - Spritely is in 7/8 time. No. 2 - D Major - Allegro comodo is in cut time. No. 3 - a minor - Allegro is in 6/8 time. No. 4 - g minor - Andante amoroso is in 4/4 time. These sonatas have few editorial markings, like Urtext Scarlatti manuscripts. Pedal should be used sparingly. Grace notes may be played either on the beat, Baroque style, or ahead of the beat, modern style.
