Composed by Turlough O'carolan. Arranged by Sandy Shalk. Celtic,Classical,Folk,World. Guitar Tab. 3 pages. Sandy Shalk #6211545. Published by Sandy Shalk (A0.948738).

This fingerstyle version of O'Carolan's composition, Lady Blayney, aka Planxty Lady Blayney, was arranged in the key of G to take advantage of OPEN G tuning flavors. Putting a capo on the third fret puts the arrangement in the key of Bb, but feel free to place the capo wherever you like. Place to taste! The capo adds nice sustain and a harp-like quality. The audio clip is in Bb (capo 3). This tune is typically in the key of C among harpists. It's also typically done very quickly ("sprightly") but slowing it down does no harm! But I'm no purist! Enjoy! This one is for lovers of OPEN G guitar.
