Published by Seth Russell (A0.927228).I have loved Barber's beautiful "Sure on This Shining Night" for years, and thought it would work well for cello ensemble. I adapted the piano and vocal parts into seven cello parts, with Cello I playing the vocal line, and Cello II playing the secondary melody line from the right hand of the piano. The Cello III-VII parts are generally more simple, so it is possible to play this arrangement with a mix of experience levels -- perfect for a festival, school, or cello studio to perform. If you can't find six cellists, enjoy the challenge of recording all seven parts yourself!
