Published by Walker Press (A0.799980).The first known publication of this was in 1858, although most folk music scholars date it much earlier. I've taken that version and start with the alto section; bass, soprano, and tenor come in with sustained harmony. The second verse weaves phrases and harmonies like an old quilt, and resolves in the third section with much of the 1858 shape note hymn embellished to drive home the melody. The piano accompaniment starts with basic chords and ends with a straight-forward statement of the four-part hymn. The third section can be sung a capella. Minimum purchase of 5 copies.
