Children's  Creative Movement

"Frogs" for piano solo taken from the  album Merry-Go-Round. Volume 1(2 pages)

As a UK dance pianist and composer, I havecomposed these short miniatures in response to dance teachers and examiners whowere seeking creative movement/dance/character pieces for children.
The purpose of this album is to meet that needand offer pieces that can be used for young children in pre-school and earlyyears classes, playgroups, parties etc, although it's not limited as olderchildren respond very well to them.

The individual pieces are specifically composedto truly reflect the various animal and characters, and they will hopefullyinspire the imagination of children.
They have been used in shows, pantomimes,schoolproductions and talent shows.
Most of the works are available as a downloadfrom my website www.granthorsleymusic.com (under the ballet section) which has them featuring orchestral sounds.
