Published by No Squeak Publishing (S0.515245).This is the 3rd mvt of Vaughan Williams' famous Phantasy Quintet. The entire piece is four two violins, two violas, and cello but this movement does not have a cello part and is actually a quartet. This work is great for mature ensembles to add variety to their programming, but also acceptable younger students learning how to play with one another. The 1st clarinet part goes up to a high F briefly at the climax, but can be altered for younger students.This movement is a wonderful example of the Williams' best known chamber works and a welcome departure from "Six Studies in English Folksong". The piece is about 3 minutes. Extra attention was taken to add dynamics and phrasing for best results with clarinets. A great addition to the standard clarinet quartet literature!
