SKU: S0.440537

Composed by Christy-Lyn Marais. Christian,Method,Etudes and Exercises,Repertoire. 4 pages. Published by Christy-Lyn (S0.440537).

This piece is named after the in-and-out movement of weaving, acraft I'm familiar with because my mom Dawn attends a weekly weaving group andhas woven so many beautiful articles, including a lovely blue mat for next tomy bed!

This piece is appropriate to be played at a concert or nursing home. It has been written to have a good payoff for the effort you put in, being easy to master but sounding beautiful as a performance piece.

Level: Early beginner harp piece

Skills needed: You should be comfortable with using fingers 1 and 2, and basic bracketing before trying this piece. It is easier than After the Rain.

Type of harp: lever harps, including lap harps.

Key: C. No pedal or lever changes are included.

Product: PDF Download of 4 pages. Fingering is indicated.

BEFORE YOU BUY THIS…

Did you know, you can also get this piece through Christy-Lyn’s Sheet Music Club? (https://www.patreon.com/christylynmusic/overview) For the same price as the sheet music, you can receive Christy-Lyn’s easy harp sheet music every month – what a great way to stay inspired! You can also be part of a community of harp players who encourage and help each other along this journey.

If you’re teaching yourself:

It is not recommended that you use this piece as the first thing you learn on the harp. It’s so important to start with the basics and learn good technique, so that you don’t form habits that will hold you back. All Christy-Lyn’s students use Pamela Bruner’s “Play the Harp Beautifully: Self-teaching Book” (https://amzn.to/2w31osp). Christy-Lyn writes her pieces to supplement that step-by-step learning process, so make sure you only try the pieces that include skills that you have already learned (otherwise, save it for later!)
