Chris Paul, a Jersey Village High School graduate(Class of 2017), wrote this ritualistic hymn during the second semester of his senior year. As graduation drew nigh, he reminisced about the time spent at his beloved Alma Mater, and dedicated ‘Departure’s Hymn’ to his classmates. Traditionally, the hymn is sung by the entire group/organization, while holding hands, in commemoration of those who are about to depart unto new endeavors.
