Predictions of the Velvet Gentleman is a neoclassical piano prelude composed in Bremen, Germany, on 8 October 2017. Its duration is about 4'00" (or slightly more).
The velvet gentleman is, of course, Erik Satie, who was known for the seven grey velvet corduroy suits which he proceeded to wear, with no variation, for ten years. However, there are no musical quotations of Satie's music in this piece.
