By Phillip Phillips. By Derek Fuhrmann, Gregg Wattenberg, and Todd Clark. Arranged by Krista Broadway Swider. Rock. Score and parts. 17 pages. Krista Swider #3544063. Published by Krista Swider (A0.921964).

This arrangement of "Gone, Gone, Gone" starts with viola pizzicato to imitate the picking of the acoustic guitar in the opening of the song, with drone bass notes in the cello. The two violins split the melody in the verses and play harmonies in the chorus. In the bridge the cello acts as the drum, with a strong staccato beat mirroring the lyrics, "Like a drum baby don't stop beating.". This version follows the audio recording by Phillip Phillips exactly, except that it is in a MUCH easier key.  It has a rich texture but is still uncomplicated technically, with limited position changes and straightforward rhythms.  Ideal for anyone who loves this song!
