After months of work, I finally completed my first sonata. It is by far one of my largest works, containing 4 movements. A conventional sonata, a short scherzo, a long and developed slow movement, and a blazing sonata-rondo to conclude the work. While I didn't achieve everything I wanted with this work I consider it an important milestone in my composition. I am overall proud of it and hope others also find value in it.

The first movement is in sonata-allegro form containing two theme in A minor and C major. The development goes to C# minor and makes use of several motifs for its material. Here is the overall breakdown of the structure:

m. 1-28 First theme in A minor

m. 28-57 Second theme in C major and codetta

m. 58-87 Development in C# minor and recapitulation to T1

m. 88-114 First theme in A minor

m. 115-130 Second theme now in A minor

m. 131-136 Coda
