"Grasshopper" is a hopping spring or summer piece for early clarinet and piano accompanist!   The clarinet stays under the break, alleviating that challenge for beginners, but the interplay with the piano is rhythmically sophisticated. I created this as a terrific piece for a first year clarinetist who needed the low register work, but already had reading skills on another instrument.  I'm listing this as easy beginner (for the clarinet part) but an intermediate player wouldn't be bored playing it and it would provide extra focus on a solid low register sound. This download includes a piano/clarinet part and a separate clarinet only sheet.   "Grasshopper"  is also available for your student on Soundcloud at: https://soundcloud.com/sunshinenotes/grasshoper.
