Vaughan Williams freely arranged these folk songs in 1913 for choir. The songs work well for woodwinds and have the same wonderful sounds band musicians have treasured in his English Folk Song Suite.
The songs include "In the Spring Time of the Year" and "The Lover's Ghost". These pieces have 5 minutes of music and require each part being able to play independently.
The parts and score are provided (2 Bb clarinets, 1 alto, and 1 bass with an alternate 3rd part if there is no alto)
