He shares our feelings of being alone and "forsaken". "Jesus remembers so well!" We think that "Nobody ever can understand, surely this can't be the plan!" "Jesus never asked that,.... He never questioned the plan!" All this is in a minor key. When switching to the major key, the words are based on Romans 5:4 (NIV) "We know that suffering brings perseverance, character, and character, hope!" The major section encourages us to decide to trust Him and "Hope comes rushing in", culminating with His statement "I am here with you" and His promise to always "Remember" us - "ALWAYS"! Possibly suitable for Good Friday/Easter but definitely appropriate anytime. Piano accompaniment. Be sure to wait for the last 2 piano notes - another "always"!
