2018 Keyboard Contest Entry
     Inspiring.
There's no better word for it. This simplified version of the Main Theme from the video game Owlboy captures its heroic feel. Owl Boy Main Title is the perfect solo for that first recital or family get-together. Great for the talent at church or school or any social organization event. And, of course, it wonderful to play just for one's own inspiration and imagination. Duration is less than a minute.
Players starting with Page 1 will need to be able to place both hands in the D-Major five-finger pattern, extending both thumbs one extra key each. But very, very beginning student pianists - even older ones - will find the Middle-C five-finger patterns on Page 2 immediately accessible. With both pages before them, students will find extra motivation and inspiration to persist in their study of the piano as they prepare to perform Page 1 at the end-of-year recital.
Parents will beam as they measure their child's progress at the piano.
