Pump It is an action packed concert opener filled of unexpected twists and turns around the theme 'Pump It' in which the main riff is most commonly known from the song with the same title by the Black Eyed Peas, realsed in 2005. The riff was originally written in 1963 by Dick Dale & The Del Tones and later used in the 1994 film, Pulp Fiction. This arrangement incorperates this riff and the main trumpet theme, however the harmonic underline and other motifs come from another piece of music called 'Al Sharq' which was written by the arranger, Daniel Hall, in 2014 for the Tredegar Brass Band's Brass In Concert programme that year.
