With mainly soft dynamics, warm soothing harmonies and use of very high pitch near the end, this is a fine and delicate arrangement. The opening chordal accompaniment gives way to flowing quavers in the second verse, creating a gentle contrast. This is a beautiful piece for young students and can encourage expressive playing. It is also an excellent choice for a concert.
