Composed by Willilam Herschel. Arranged by B H Suits. Baroque. 9 pages. B H Suits #3372929. Published by B H Suits (A0.1011417).

William Hershel (1738-1822) is best known for his scientific work including the discovery of infrared radiation, the planet Uranus and several of its moons, among other important discoveries.  Born in Hanover into a musical family he spent his early years as a professional musician, composer, and conductor in England.  This arrangement for woodwind quintet is based on the delicate slow movement from his orchestral symphony number 20, written in 1763.  Hershel's music is described as either late Baroque or "pre-classical." This three minute arrangement is well suited for students new to woodwind quintet music as well as for a relaxing interlude as part of a more advanced program.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
