Composed by Gary Noland. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score. 28 pages. Freeland Publications #3239731. Published by Freeland Publications (A0.980425).Duration: ca. 8 minutes (1983). Those who are fond of Richard Strauss's and Korngold's music may also enjoy this piece, which is written in an extended tonal language that would fit right in with fin-de-siècle Vienna. It concludes the first work in my catalogue I consider worthy of having an opus number ascribed to it: my "Twenty Pieces for Piano" Op. 1.
"...the product of a very often tonal chromatic style, gentle, but with moments of coyness...possessed of a cheery quality, sometimes bumblingly good-natured-with forays into sharp dissonance..."
-Richard Binder, The Nashua Telegraph
