2017 Choral Contest Entry
This amazing dramatic piece by Fay Foster not only inspired WWI era patriots but was also the basis for a dramatic short film by Joseph M. Schenck in 1930.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZyCTH73ub0

This arrangement is scored for 2 part men's chorus, piano and trumpet.  The year is 1918 and the location is France.  The song is a dialogue between a son and his blind father, who is inquiring of the marching sounds that he hears from the window--the sounds of the American Military coming to France's aid during WWI.  .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
