Composed by Music by Thomas Hastings and Words by Augustus Toplady. Arranged by c.e. walz. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. C.E. Walz #3075885. Published by C.E. Walz (A0.767626).

Whenever  I ask Grandma what her favorite rock song is, she always calls out "ROCK OF AGES," and then she'll laugh and laugh. If I can ever get her in a serious mood, she will admit that Rock of Ages is "a good ol' hymn" and that Grandpa liked it, too. And that's good enough for me. I play this early intermediate hymn arrangement for offertory, communion, prayer time and funerals. It's always on the top ten request list for funerals. The words for this great hymn were first published in England around 1775, which means it was around during the time of the American Revolution...in England!     (But don't tell Grandma. She's a charter member of her local DAR. It would comfort her to know, however, that the melody was composed by an American.)  (Key of C, no key changes, approximately 2:20 minutes long, three pages).
