This is astraight-ahead swing tune which captures the spirit of CountBasie.  At a medium tempo, this is greatfor dancing and for teaching the swing concept. Three solos with the lead trombone, lead tenor, and piano (opt. guitar)are complimented with an intermittent brass quartet soli followed by a fullensemble shout chorus.  After a recap,the chart ends with a nod to Li’l Darlin’as it slows to a beautiful full-ensemble close. Lead and 2nd trumpet play to high D.
