Composed by Michael Bomier. 20th Century,Contemporary,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 1 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #2007401. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862444).

A portentous, chromatic, octave-driven bass is overlayered with altered chords, in a remote key, for the blending of the darker elements of both Chopin and Rachmaninoff. Many kinds of altered harmonies: dominant 7ths with all manner of raised and lowered fifths, half-diminished chords, and diminished major 7th chords. All to create an effect that reminds us of the turbulent early years of the 20th century. Easier to play than it is to read. With an unusual feature, a low A that substitutes for the lacking low G# in the last octave of the piece. Lasts just under two minutes.
