Michel ten Brummelhuis was inspired by the grooves of "Master Drummer" Dave Weckl while writing this cadence. The cadence starts very strong, after which the bass drums put down the basis-groove of the piece immediately. This rhythm is later on completed with a tenor groove. After the solo-part for tenors and snares the cadence is closing with a nice samba groove.
