Published by Volitant Music (A0.912840).This popular set of waltzes was written in 1895 by Frank M. Witmark for a stage version of an adventure novel by Anthony Hope. Witmark dedicated the piece to E. H. Sothern, who payed the leading role. Years later, from 1913 to 1979, the novel was turned into several movies.
This arrangement takes many liberties with the 1895 piano score, and one of the melodies is of my own hand.
