I realize that there are other arrangements of Billy Foote's You Are My King out there already. However, here are some features that make this one unique:
1. The three-part vocals are suitable for any combination of men and women; some suggestions for changing up the texture are included.
2. The arrangement includes a piano part that is more interesting than many.
3. The arrangement includes a rhythm chart and parts for supplemental instruments:
•a keyboard string part (which can also be played by live string players; arco bass would play from the rhythm part),
•a couple of percussion parts,
•a horn section: trumpet, alto sax (with a trumpet 2 part that can be substituted), trombone (with a ten. sax part that can be substituted)
4. Perhaps most unique: there are three transpositions for a "featured instrument", e.g, a sax, flute, violin, or trumpet, which would be a front-line player to add interest to the performance. So, you could use just one supplemental instrumentalist and "feature" them, or you could have a "horn section", or both.
Note: the computer-generated demo takes the first repeat, but none of the others.
