Wyoming Portrait programmatically depicts the simplistic qualities of the Old West; focusing on the wide, open country of Wyoming. The tune AMAZING GRACE is recognized briefly in the legato opening melody, then is used unconventionally as the theme for a rhythmic and percussive Rodeo section.
