By Louis Armstrong With Kenny G. By Bob Thiele and George David Weiss. Arranged by Barry McCormick. Jazz. Score and parts. 14 pages. B. McCormick #6514415. Published by B. McCormick (A0.808766).

This is a simple arrangement of "What a wonderful World" for flute accompanied by guitar. I love the combination of guitar and flute and I hope you do too.

I can’t speak of the complexity of the flute part but it takes the melody for the most part with a little fill between second verse and the bridge. The melody is fairly simple although in the higher register which may exclude this from being a complete beginner piece of music. The guitar part is a simple plucking pattern over a mixed range of easy and difficult chords, one barre chord. It is simple but definitely not for a beginner but someone who is starting out with barre chords. If you can’t find a guitar player the chords can be used for someone to accompany on piano too.
